Daitro - part VII

The end of a unique story!

The band posted on their facebook page the following:
"Hi friends
As you know Benoit broke his right index and can't play drums for a while. This sad news meant we were forced to cancel our 2
shows. We're really bummed out... and above all, very sad.

Few months ago we agreed we would play our 2 last shows this summer and stop for good after the Fluff fest. So we're sorry to announce that the band is definitely done now. Of course we would have prefe
red to play our songs two more times on stage, but on the other hand we can't delay such a decision anymore and push it for later once again.
So time has come to thank all of you who made this band the most amazing experience in our lives. There is obviously so much more that could be said and many people to thank, but we will keep it short, these are the best goodbyes

Thanks again and see you sooner or later with our other bands !

Comme vous le savez Benoit s'est cassé le doigt et ne peut pas jouer pendant un mois ce qui nous oblige malheureusement à annuler nos concerts cet été. On est évidemment très déçus...

On était tous d'accord pour dire que ces 2 concerts seraient nos derniers et que l'on arrêterait pour de bon après le Fluff Fest. Au vu des circonstances et étant donné qu'elles ne nous feront p
as changer d'avis, le groupe est donc définitivement terminé. Bien sûr nous voulions faire ces deux derniers concerts mais on ne peut pas remettre cette décision à plus tard et repousser l'échéance de nouveau.
Il est temps pour nous de remercier tous ceux qui ont fait de ce groupe la plus grande expérience de nos vies.
Il y aurait évidemment beaucoup de monde à remercier et plein de choses à dire mais on va pas faire dans le pathos solennel, les meilleurs au-revoir sont les plus courts.

Merci à tous et à un de ces 4 quelque part avec nos autres projets

Apostate - new EP

Here's the new EP signed Apostate released on August 3rd.
You can also watch the video for The Town, the last song on the EP.

Apostate was born in Prague, Czech as the initiative of five russian youngsters aged between 18 and 21. The band won rapidely the admiration of the local scene so their debut, an EP called Traits, became a subject of interest not only in Prague but also in the entire country.

In less than two years the band managed to share the stage with names such as A Plea for Purging, Texas In July, War From a Harlots Mouth, Arsonists Get All the Girls, Yashin, Billy the Kid, Salt the Wound, Here Comes the Kraken sau Show Your Teeth.

Apostate also performed live in Bucharest to promote their new record so here's a small part of their concert in Fabrica Club.

Randy Blythe (Lamb Of God) interview

"Lamb of God Front-man Randy Blythe talks to nova.cz upon his release from the Czech prison he has been incarcerated in for the last 5 weeks.
Blythe was imprisoned after allegations that he caused the death of a fan at a show in 2010. It was alleged that he assaulted the fan on stage causing injuries that the fan would later die of."

No Spill Blood - Street Meat (EP)

No Spill Blood is some kind of an atmospherical post-punk new musical group featuring members of Elk, Adebisi Shank, Hands up who wants to die, Magic Pockets etc.

Found out about this very interesting band only a copule of months ago by watching the documentary on DIY "A Joyful Slog" and got really fond of them for the constant energy they contaminate with together with  some unpredictable catchy sounds they come up with.
The Ep was released just yesterday so it brings an obvious pinch of freshness!
