Ruined Families - Four Wall Freedom

Got really overwhelmed by the rad sound of this band as it's only a couple of months i found out about them.
Ruined Families is one of the best hardcore/metal bands based in Greece that is sometimes labeled as "noir hardcore". This is their first full-length album released in 2010 and available for free download if you click the link above. Also here's a review of this album, short and clear-cut.
Also the band has released an EP, in February this year, called Untitled 7″.Feel free to check it out too.

Unholy Tongues - Jackal in a World of Reassurance

Here's another worthy instrumental post-rock band. They are from Wilmington, North Carolina and this album was released at the end of 2010. The percussive bass guitar together with the great thythm of the drums create a great background for the sensitive and expressive guitar riffs. Lovable!

Team Fresh (the band)

Team Fresh is a hip hop/ funk/ punk rock band from Belfast, Ireland having Slaine Browne, the drummer of And So I Watch You From Afar, DJ Chops and many others from the Northern Ireland DIY crew! These awesome dudes have come up with such an original sound managing to "take down the flags" and bring together kids listening to different musical styles.

Here are the lyrics, with this occasion i must thank all the bands i admire for helping me and everyone else who understand this, to find a way to speak one's mind as sometimes is hard to express yourself and to find the proper words to do so.

We were born where boredom's been sanctified. And hope wears the same dust than all roads outgoing. I'm sick of waiting, sick of living in this apathy. Tonight's the night, the mounts will give up. No need for muscles when you have a beating heart. This is the story of not already broken dreams. War's not over, i've just found the flag. And I don't stand for the resigned one. Maybe it could leave me happy, maybe it could leave me broken, one thing is sure : it won't leave me ignorant. And if I have one fear, it's to lay on regrets. With no way to sleep before the sunset. Great speech about truth!

This is something i got into these days, i found the link on some post by http://www.trueactivist.com/ or http://www.facebook.com/pages/Truth-Movement/161389033958012 and it remained on my mind for keeps.
Not only that i found out a lot about the human body and what we need to consume or not for health matters but i also realized for the thousandth time that we the people are so ill informed about most of the things around us and thus we all become slaves of the society that makes money over our being naive.

It is much more than worth watching/listening :)

Breathelast - Weapons (official video)

This is what the band declared about the video:
 "We made this video with spontaneous help and inspiration from the Breathelast collective and the direct intervention of Valeriu Catalineanu and Marius Costache, without whom this video wouldn't exist. On a beach in Tuzla, Romania, we ran after one another, afterwards we all ran after Florian (Protest Urban) and we concluded the track as an escape from everything that makes us choke in the personal society from our heads and chest, subunivers created by everything surounding and suffocating us. It is made by "us" for us and for you. It is not a major investment of time or resources, neither we live in Hollywood, but we enjoy extremely to be able to release another track "by water", in a personal style and with a participation that we are very glad and thankful of: Florian Grigorean (Protest Urban).
